Alytarch was the ruler of the Pankration.
Biography[]
During a tournament, he decided who won the competition, and who lost. Before every match, he would place a dagger in the centre of the arena, and then draw a line through the sand. Raising his staff would mean the match began. (The Rules of Engagement)
He later ruled the Coronation Games after Ariadne was announced Daughter of Poseidon. He orchestrated the games, and decided who won each fight. During the contest, he found Areto's body in the preparation halls and concluded the strain of the fight had killed her. (Telemon)
